Legally-recognized weddings and handfastings

The ShadowGrove Clergy are available to perform legal marriage and handfasting ceremonies in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Truthsong and SpiritHawk, the founders and ministers of ShadowGrove, offer a unique form of marriage or handfasting, by co-officiating, so that both male and female aspects of spirituality are brought into the ceremony. Each ceremony is tailored to suit the couple and are delicately written to allow all guests, both pagan and non-pagan, to enjoy the ceremony. In addition to handfastings and marriages, Truthsong and SpiritHawk offer a variety of hand-crafted ritual items such as herb infused Unity candles and leatherbound books to enhance the quality of each ceremony.

Non-legally-binding handfastings

Truthsong, SpiritHawk, and Crystal are happy to perform handfasting ceremonies that are not legally binding, in Virginia as well as in neighboring states, by arrangement. We are proud to work with all couples, regardless of orientation.

Spiritual counseling

Truthsong and SpiritHawk offer spiritual counseling services to the members of ShadowGrove and to the larger spiritual community. We recognize and understand that each person's spiritual journey has the potential to go astray, and we are here as a confidential resource for those who would like to find their footing once again.

Other services

SpiritHawk, Truthsong and Crystal are available to perform blessings for children and expectant parents, as well as rites of passage, home blessings and cleansings, funereal services and other services upon request. All the ceremonies and services we offer are tailored to meet the needs of the individual and their families and can be as simple or as intricate as you wish.
